Meet the Team

  • Alyssa Kennedy

    Alyssa started riding at a young age and got her first horse, Tigger, in 2002. They spent many years together competing in Dressage, Hunter/Jumpers and Eventing. Alyssa was also a member of Pony Club where she received her C2 rating and represented her club at Nationals for Dressage with Tigger. Alyssa graduated from Johnson and Wales University with her Bachelor’s Degree in Equine Business Management and Riding. During her time there, Alyssa was able to gain valuable experiences and training from many professionals in the equine industry. Alyssa’s family started Creek Crossing Farm in 2005 - she has been managing the farm and teaching here ever since. She enjoys using her experiences to help her students overcome challenges and grow relationships with their horses allowing them to reach their fullest potential. When she is not working you can find her spending time outside with her husband, two sons and dog, Bruin. She also enjoys going to the gym and volunteering with dog rescues.

  • Nicole Cassidy

    Nicole began riding when she was 9 years old. She was a member of Pony Club . She enjoyed going to local schooling events as well as dressage shows with her horses Cloud and Safari. Nicole is an instructor here at CCF, assists with daily chores and helps with managerial work. When she is not at the barn you can find her working as an occupational therapist, spending time with her family or reading a good book!

  • Ashley Peixoto

    Ashley started her horse career as a fair weather rider at age 6 and then really got into it at age 11 when she started riding at River Wind Farm. She worked as a student for River Wind Farm throughout her junior years and then became Barn manager and Road manager when she graduated high school. Throughout her college years she traveled to many horse shows to groom for River Wind and competed at Massachusetts Days of Champions. In 2012 she won the New England Equitation Championship Groom’s award. While at River Wind she also taught IEA and IHSA teams. Ashley joined Creek Crossing Farm in 2014 as a riding instructor 2 afternoons a week. Over the years here at CCF she now helps coach at horse shows and helps clients find horses. She enjoys teaching both adults and kids how to better their riding and help them find their forever horse partners.

  • Olivia Tagliente

    Olivia started riding at 8 years old and joined CCF in 2008. She enjoyed participating in local schooling events and hunter shows. Olivia started volunteering with CCF’s working student program then moved on to become a camp counselor in their Summer Horsemanship program. Eventually she became a Massachusetts state licensed riding instructor at the age of 19 and has been teaching ever since.

  • Billie Zuschin

    Billie grew up in Georgia, riding and showing horses from a young age. After stepping away from the equestrian world for a time, she found her way back when her daughter joined the crew at CCF. Now, they share their passion for horses, and her daughter’s first horse is boarded at the farm. She has been part of the CCF team for the past two years, assisting with daily barn chores and helping care for the horses. When she’s not at the barn, she enjoys spending time with her family and exploring the outdoors.
